Candi

Candi is a small talking lantern, the kind you carry by the handle. She is Tito’s great friend and goes along with him on his adventures.

Candi’s light stays on while she is awake and gets dimmer when she sleeps. Nobody knows for sure where she came from, and that is one of the mysteries of the Village.

Everyone can see Candi, hear what she says, and talk with her. Candi is a character from a world of fantasy. She is not an angel or a spirit, and she does not work miracles. She talks, asks questions, and keeps Tito company, but Tito always makes his own choices.

How they met Tito met Candi one night when the power went out at home. That is the story of the first comic, A Light in the Dark.
